Now Playing: P.I.L-This Is Not A Love Song
Topic: Everything In Moderation
Evil is as evil does
We are almost at the end of
another week. Next week is Thanksgiving vacation for all the kids
in school, A.K.A Hell Week for parents. Well, maybe not that bad.
It depends on who your kids
are... Hmmmmm. Points to ponder, and ponder I shall.
? Michael Jordan makes more
money from Nike annually than all of the Nike factory workers in
Malaysia combined. ?
So, what to write about today? I
really don't know. I am clueless and could give a damn if I did
not have anywhere to go with this damn blog! It's for your
entertainment, so I know I need to
give you something worth while. Damn... Let's talk about
something weird, jusy plain weird...
? February of 1865 is the only month in recorded history not to have a full moon. ?
What's It All Aboot?
These are some songs I could
find the meanings for so I could share it with you and you could
be amazed! And you will be!!!
- Alice In Chains,
"Man in the Box" - This is about censorship,
with animal cruelty used as
a metaphor. The man in the box is like a veal calf trapped in confinement. - Pearl Jam,
"Jeremy" - About a boy who kills himself at
school to get revenge on the stud-
ents who tormented him. It is based on the true story of Jeremy Delle, a 16 year old who
killed himself in front of his English class at Richardson High School in Richardson, Texas. - Oasis,
"Champagne Supernova" - Noel Gallagher got the
title when he misheard the name
of the Pixies album Bossanova. He was watching a documentary about champagne at the
time. - System of a Down,
"Sugar" - This song is about the artificial
sweetener Aspartame. Aspar-
tame has been linked to people having uncontrollable homicidal tendencies, and an increase
in the numbers of brain tumors as suggested in the report by the World Health Organization.
In the video, the words 'Aspartame kills' pop up briefly. In the lyrics Serj makes reference to
violence: 'My girlfriend she lashes out sometimes and then I just f*cking kick her then baby,
she's ok.' - The Dead Kennedys,
"I Fought The Law" - The song is about the
murder of San Francisco
mayor George Moscone and his aide Harvey Milk ("I blew George and Harvey's brains out with
my six-gun") by police officer Dan White, who later managed to get out of a double murder
sentence through a rather peculiar insanity defense - he claimed he went temporarily insane
after eating too many Twinkies ("Twinkies are the best friends I ever had") even though there
is evidence the murders were premeditated.
So, there you have it. Maybe
there are songs you would like to know more about. If there are,
post them
on the board and I will cover them tomorrow! It's interesting
because we never really knew the extent of
the truth.
Vocabulary? How about just 3?!?!
- obolary, adj. - extremely poor
- ragmatical, adj. - wild, ill-behaved
- vesical, adj. - pertaining to the bladder
? The word "samba" means "to rub navels together." ?
Long blog today. I hope you
enjoyed it. If not, please leave your complaints at the board and
I will
deal with them accordingly. More than likey, you will get a big,
"Piss Off" but just because I don't
care, doesn't mean I don't understand! Oi to the world! Good Day!
